I wish I were a Ferrofluid



Ever hear of Ferrofluids? No? Then you do not know what you are missing.

A ferrofluid is a liquid that becomes magnetized in the presence of a magnetic field, making amazing art and designs by how the field pulls on it. A ferrofluid is a colloidal liquid that is made of nanoscale ferromagnetic particles suspended in a fluid (usually a solvent or water). With a coating of a surfactant to prevent clumping, you get some cool things like this:
